Hello, I'm Adam and I'm a video game music composer and creator of GLYNMOOG. This is a selection of my portfolio. Rooted in my love for JRPG soundtracks of the SNES, my music lives at the intersection of nostalgia, modern synth soundscapes and cinematic orchestral arrangements. With over 15 years of experience collaborating with filmmakers and animation studios (see full portfolio) - I specialise in helping creators fulfil their vision with original music, tailor-made to their conceptual needs.
In 2021, GLYNMOOG was born with the 'Moon Story'. An instrumental album and animated pixel-art film. GLYNMOOG means Moog Valley, combining the Celtic word for valley 'Glyn' with a nod to Robert Moog. It is the mountainous region where 'Moon Story' takes place.
The project began with a prequel series, The Dream Diaries, where the main character Fay documents their dreams as they unravel - with psychedelic visuals created using a hacked SNES chip.
FMFL (Functional Music for Lovers) is where it all began in 2018. I created the project to release music. I was very inspired by dream pop projects such as Beach House and wanted to make music just like them. I had this vision of the project visually belonging in a pixel-art retro universe, where we would see a little avatar called Fay, lonely in the world.

I've removed all my music from Spotify after learning that, after paying artists extremely poorly to increase profit, the CEO uses it to invest €600million on AI powered Military drone technology. I encourage anyone who uses Spotify to listen to music to stop; and stop giving money to them. I've also left Instagram, Facebook and X because there are other and better options out there that are not profit-led or a cesspit of outrage and harmful advertisement algorithms that seeks nothing but to keep you scrolling no matter what, at a great cost for our brains and our quality of life.
